John Brosnan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in defense and security collaboration, currently serving as the UK Defence & Security Director at the Australian Trade and Investment Commission since May 2021. Additionally, John serves as an Advisory Board Member for Be the Business, providing non-executive support for UK SMEs. Prior to these roles, John held various senior positions at BAE Systems from 2008 to 2020, including Group Head of Government Relations and Managing Director for Asia, where John led business development operations. John’s career began as a Senior Civil Servant in the UK Government from 1997 to 2008, with roles that included Operations Director for the Defence & Security Organisation and Director at the Ministry of Defence. John holds an MBA from London Business School.
