Joy Aho

Joy Aho has an extensive work experience in the biotech industry. Joy started their career at R&D Systems in 2006 as a Research Scientist in Stem Cells and later became the Product Development Manager/Scientist of the Stem Cell Department. In 2016, they joined Bio-Techne as the Manager of the Cell Culture Market Center/Scientist before being promoted to the role of Senior Product Manager for Cell and Gene Therapy. In 2019, they transitioned to Be The Match BioTherapies and currently holds the position of Director of Product Management.

Joy Aho obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Molecular, Cellular, Developmental Biology and Genetics from the University of Minnesota, where they studied from 1999 to 2005.
