Akash Lagad

Akash Lagad has extensive work experience in supply chain and logistics. Akash was the Head of Supply Chain & Logistics at Beach Energy Ltd, where they managed a national division and was responsible for operational and procurement strategy. Akash also had roles at BM Brands - Stacks Blockchain as CEO, successfully launching a decentralized finance project, and at Boston Consulting Group as an Expert Consultant specializing in transformations and operations. Additionally, Akash worked at Sony as National Logistics Manager, at TMX as a Senior Strategy Consultant, at Toll Group in various business solutions and logistics roles, and at Xytek Solutions as the CEO, focusing on IT infrastructure improvement and client relationship management. Akash is an Executive Member of the Supply Chain & Logistics Association of Australia.

Akash Lagad earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering with a focus on Business Information Systems from Purdue University in 2009-2010. Akash then pursued further education and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering with a specialization in Business Information Systems from the University of Sydney from 2010 to 2012. Looking to enhance their skills, Akash attended New York University from 2020 to 2022, where they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Supply Chain Management & Global Sourcing. Alongside their formal education, they also hold additional certifications, including a Rescue Diver certification from PADI, obtained in March 2017, and a Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) certification awarded by the University of Melbourne in January 2014.
