Nicole K.

Nicole K. currently serves as the Regulatory Approvals Manager (Projects) at Beach Energy Ltd since March 2023. Prior to this role, Nicole held the position of General Manager at the Department for Energy and Mining in South Australia from February 2022 to October 2022. Nicole's extensive experience at Beach Energy Ltd spans over a decade, where roles included Tenures Manager, Team Leader - Joint Venture Coordination, and Joint Venture Coordinator, beginning in May 2011. Earlier career experiences include serving as a Senior Policy Officer focused on Energy Efficiency Policy at the Department of Energy (SA Government) from July 2009 to April 2011, and as Principal Policy Officer in various departments of the Queensland Government from February 2002 to May 2009, concentrating on Queensland Energy Policy and Government Owned Corporations. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Pharmacology and Toxicology and a Bachelor's Degree in Science, both awarded by the University of Adelaide. Additionally, Nicole has worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at UC Berkeley and King's College London.
