Transition Counselor, Pacific West Region at Beacon College

Sheila FaulknerLoser is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in higher education and student support services. Currently serving as a Transition Counselor for Beacon College since August 2021, Sheila focuses on transition-to-college programming for undergraduate students with diverse learning needs. Previously, as the Director of Special Programs at Yuba Community College District from July 2018 to June 2021, Sheila managed various initiatives including the WCC-Konocti Middle College High School Grant and partnerships with multiple high schools for dual enrollment. Sheila’s career at Riverside City College spanned from November 2004 to November 2017, where contributions were made in two different departments as a Student Resource Specialist. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Higher Education with a focus on Leadership for Student Success from Walden University, a Bachelor of Science in Human Services and Management from the University of Phoenix, and two Associate of Arts degrees from Mt. San Jacinto College in Humanities and Social and Behavioral Sciences.
