Sian Evans is an experienced finance professional with a comprehensive background across various roles in the housing sector. Currently, Sian serves as a Board Member and Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee at First Choice Housing Association Limited since September 2020. Sian has been with Coastal Housing Group since November 1995, holding several positions including Head Of Finance and Treasury Manager. Additionally, Sian has contributed as a Guest Lecturer for the MBA course at the University of Wales Trinity St. Davids since March 2016, focusing on Treasury and corporate strategy. Previous roles include a Committee Member at Hendre, a Board Member at NEATH PORT TALBOT CREDIT UNION LIMITED, and a Finance Officer at Dyfed County Council. Sian is an ACCA graduate from Kaplan Accountancy, completing studies from 2011 to 2015.

Beacon Cymru Group is a not-for-profit organisation (registered social landlord) operating in Swansea, Neath Port Talbot, Rhondda Cynon Taf, Carmarthenshire and Bridgend employing around 380 people. Beacon was formed in 2025 after a merger between Coastal Housing Group and RHA Wales. We build and manage homes and commercial premises, as well as offering homes for sale through our Pennant Homes subsidiary. We have particular expertise in regeneration and sustainable building methods.
