Adelina Abshire CUCME

Adelina Abshire CUCME began their career in 2008 as the Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at Beacon Federal Credit Union. In this role, they represented Beacon FCU in the community, local service organizations, school districts, and chambers of commerce. Adelina also contributed to relevant blogs, conferences and events both off-line and online to increase brand awareness and analyzed ratings and programming features of competitors to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing strategies. Additionally, they planned and negotiated media buys, including TV, radio, print and digital. In 2012, they began working as an Advisory Trustee FOCUS Network Liaison and Volunteer for the Cornerstone Credit Union Foundation. In this role, they were dedicated to empowering people to improve their financial well-being.

Adelina Abshire CUCME attended Southwest CUNA Management School from 2017 to 2019, where they earned a degree in Southwest CUNA Management School. Adelina also attended CUNA FUSE from 2015 to present and obtained a Credit Union Business Development Professional certification.
