Donna McIntosh

Donna McIntosh is the Chief Compliance Officer, for Beacon Health Options at Anthem, Inc. In this role, she is responsible for leading a best-in-class compliance program, establishing trust with business partners and associates, and championing a culture of integrity. She supports various business areas within Beacon Health Options ensuring that compliance and regulatory practices are highly effective and in compliance with federal and state laws.

Donna joined Anthem in 2013 and served as the Plan Compliance Officer of Amerigroup Georgia, a wholly owned subsidiary of Anthem, Inc. She has served in many other roles within the company such as the Planning and Performance Director (Chief of Staff) for Federal Government Solutions (FGS) and most recently, the Business Strategy and Planning Director for the Medicaid East region. In this role, she managed more than 10 Medicaid State Plans and was responsible for supporting the annual planning efforts and the execution of the 3-year annual business plan that included internal and external commutations and associate engagement activities.

Donna is a seasoned healthcare professional with over 20 years of healthcare experience in both the commercial and government business arena to include healthcare fraud and abuse. Prior to joining Amerigroup, she served as the Sr. Director of Compliance for Peach State Health Plan. In that position she oversaw and managed programs, policies and practices to ensure ongoing compliance with the state Medicaid contract.

Donna earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Edward Waters University in Jacksonville, Florida and a Master of Health Administration from the University of North Florida also in Jacksonville, Florida.

Donna is a member of the Healthcare Compliance Association.
