Judith Crawford

Judith Crawford is the current CEO of Beacon Mobility. Judith has held this position since November 2020. Prior to that, they were the Chief Executive Officer for National Express Transit Corporation from April 2016 to November 2020. During their time at NEXT, they oversaw a rapid expansion of the company, with annual revenues growing by 60%.

From January 2014 to November 2020, Judith was the EVP Commercial Development at National Express LLC, where they were responsible for running the sales team, bid team, marketing, charter sales and M&A. During their time there, they completed 20 acquisitions in both the school bus and transit space.

From June 2012 to March 2016, Judith was the Chief Financial Officer at National Express LLC. In this role, they were responsible for the financial oversight of a $1 billion passenger transportation business that operated in 34 states and four Canadian provinces. Judith managed Finance, IT, Accounting, Procurement, Internal Audit, Operations Planning, Pricing and Strategy teams with a staff of over 100 people. Under their leadership, the team's productivity and engagement level increased, and profitability, ROTA and cash conversion all improved.

Judith Crawford has a CA from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Scotland, a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics from the University of Glasgow, and certification from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in Transit Hub Management Online Certification Series and Purdue University in Lean Six Sigma - Green Belt.
