Marc Hensel

Marc Hensel has a vast work experience spanning over several prestigious companies. Marc started their career at Koch Industries in 1996 as a Director of Mergers & Acquisitions. Marc then moved on to Enron in 1999, where they served as the Director of Business Development. In 2002, Marc joined Plains Resources Inc as a Vice President of Corporate Development. In 2004, they transitioned to Plains Exploration Co, still serving as a Vice President but focused on Acquisitions & Divestments. Marc then joined Freeport-McMoRan Oil & Gas in 2013 as the Vice President of Acquisitions & Divestments. Currently, they hold the positions of Managing Director & Chief Financial Officer at Beacon Offshore Energy, a role they assumed in 2016 and later became the President & Chief Financial Officer in 2018.

Marc Hensel has a strong educational background. Marc pursued their Bachelor of Arts in Economics at The University of Kansas from 1991 to 1994. Following this, Marc attended The University of Kansas School of Business, where they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from 1994 to 1996.
