Christina Abernathy, ATC, has extensive experience in athletic training, currently serving as the Head Athletic Trainer at Select Medical since April 2017. Additionally, Christina holds athletic trainer positions at Mercy Health and Beacon Orthopaedics on a PRN basis, as well as providing services at Cincinnati Reds baseball camps since May 2016. A graduate assistant at the University of Cincinnati since August 2015, Christina has also contributed to United Soccer Leagues LLC as an athletic trainer in April 2016. Christina earned a Master of Science in Public Health Education and Promotion from the University of Cincinnati (2015-2017) and holds two Bachelor’s degrees from the University of Northern Iowa in Athletic Training/Trainer and Movement and Exercise Science (2010-2015).
