David Hayes

David Hayes has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. David started their career in 2011 as a Telemarketer at Airtricity. In 2012, they worked as a Laboratory Demonstrator and Bicycle Engineer at University College Cork, Ireland (UCC). In 2013, they worked as a Software Developer at both ThinkSmart Technologies and Xerenet. David then interned as a Software Developer at S3 Group in 2014, where they designed and developed an automated testing environment for a continuous integration and code management project. In 2015, they joined S3 Group again as a Systems Engineer, specializing in cloud architecture design and deployment. David also worked at Accenture as an Application Development Specialist, where they were responsible for the architecture and deployment of a continuous delivery and integration platform. David later became an Application Development Senior Analyst at Accenture, working extensively with public and private cloud solutions. In 2019, they joined Beacon Platform as a Platform Engineer and gradually worked their way up to Senior Platform Engineer, Lead Platform Engineer, and currently serves as the Co-Head of Platform Engineering. In addition to their professional experience, David Hayes also served as an Emergency First Responder at the Irish Red Cross from 2010 to 2016.

David Hayes attended University College Cork from 2011 to 2015, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BScCS). Their field of study was focused on Computer Science.
