Garth K. Flint

Garth has over 40 years of experience as an institutional investment consultant. He is a member of Beacon Pointe’s Investment Committee. Prior to launching Beacon Pointe Advisors, Garth was a founder and Managing Director with Canterbury Consulting, responsible for Advisor Services to Institutions and High Net Worth Individuals. Garth was a founder and principal for the Kidder Peabody West Coast Institutional Consulting Services of Newport Beach and served eight years as Vice President with Merrill Lynch as an institutional investment consultant. Garth holds a BS degree in Economics from St. Mary’s College of California. He serves on the board of Boys Hope/Girls Hope of Southern California, is a former Trustee of St. Mary’s College of California where he was Chairman of the Advancement Committee as well as the Investment Committee. He currently is on the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet Province Finance Advisory Board and serves on the Presidential Advisory Council of Concordia University. Garth spent 15 years as a Naval Aviator flying in the F-4 Phantom II.
