Vladan Smiciklas

Vladan Smiciklas, Jr. has over 19 years of experience in credit operations and management roles. Vladan is currently the Vice President of Credit Operations at Beacon Building Products, where they have been since January 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Credit Operations at the same company from February 2019 to January 2020.

Before joining Beacon Building Products, Vladan worked at Advance Partners as the Manager of Credit Portfolio from January 2018 to February 2019. Vladan also held positions at STERIS Corporation as the Business Unit Controller for Life Sciences Service from September 2017 to January 2018, and as the Manager of Accounts Receivable and Credit from December 2014 to August 2017.

Additionally, Vladan has experience as the National Credit Manager at Willoughby Supply Inc. from September 2013 to December 2014, and as the Regional Sales Director for the Southwest region at Norandex Building Materials from July 2011 to August 2013. Vladan also held various credit management positions at Norandex Building Materials from November 2007 to June 2011.

Vladan began their career at McMaster-Carr as a Risk Account Manager, Sales Supervisor, and Sales Operations Representative from July 2002 to November 2007. Vladan also worked as an Assistant Credit Manager at Lincoln Electric from May 2001 to June 2002.

Throughout their career, Vladan has demonstrated strong leadership skills and successfully managed teams to achieve business objectives. Vladan has experience in risk assessment, collection management, credit analysis, and building customer relationships.

Vladan Smiciklas, Jr. attended Bowling Green State University, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Business Law. Vladan also obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the same institution.
