Bhavin Shah is currently a Trustee at Beacon School. Prior to that, they were with NatWest from January 2018 to December 2020, where they served as Business Lead (MD), IBOR Replacement Programme. Bhavin was responsible for strategically driving a market and regulatory initiative to get the best outcome for customers and the bank, which resulted in the first ever SONIA loan offering, paving the way for the loan markets to transition away from Libor. Bhavin also developed strong relations with key players in the transition (including regulators) and was seen as a Thought Leader in the market.
From January 2016 to December 2018, Bhavin Shah was Head of Debt Products at The Royal Bank of Scotland. In this role, they developed the discipline of Product Management across the lending business, which covered a broad range of products serving the Business Banking, Asset Finance and Large Corporate lending space. Their team managed customer journeys for loan products and drove the simplification of the product suite. Bhavin also made key decisions around product strategies and drove the risk appetite for the products.
From January 2015 to December 2016, Bhavin Shah was Head of Capital Resolution at RBS.
Bhavin Shah's educational career includes completing a Bachelor of Science in Management Sciences from The University of Manchester, an Executive MBA from Harvard University, and A-Levels in Economics, Maths and Physics from Sevenoaks School. Bhavin also has a certification from SOSTAC in Product Management Training and a certification from Standard & Poors in Corporate Credit Risk Analysis.
