Prior to this, they held the position of Managing Director of Global Capital Markets at Velocity Trade, where they played a key role in establishing the firm as an independent global broker dealer. Before joining Velocity Trade, Daniel worked as a Senior Advisor at New Generation Advisors Limited, where they assisted companies in accessing capital and provided advisory services primarily in the mining, energy, agricultural, and fintech sectors. Daniel also has experience as an Equity & Commodities Fund Manager at Threadneedle Asset Management, where they launched and managed mining and commodity-related funds. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Associate in Investment Banking at Credit Suisse, specializing in the Metals & Mining industry. Throughout their career, Daniel has gained extensive experience in various aspects of the finance industry, including capital markets, investment origination, advisory services, and fund management.

- Daniel obtained an HBA degree in Finance from Ivey Business School at Western University from 2000 to 2002.
- Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business and Economics from Western University between 1998 and 2002.
