Kirk Wilson started their work experience in 2005 at Clarus Securities, where they held the role of Managing Director of Oil & Gas Research until 2012. Kirk then joined Beacon Securities Limited in 2012 as the Managing Director of Investment Banking until 2016. After that, they transitioned to the role of Managing Director of Research (Energy) at Beacon Securities Limited.
Kirk Wilson completed their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Finance, General from the University of Calgary, which they attended from 1986 to 1988. Prior to that, they studied at Red Deer Polytechnic from 1984 to 1986, although the specific degree and field of study achieved during this time are unknown. Kirk also obtained a certification as a Chartered Financial Analyst from the CFA Institute in 1998.
