Amy Rathbun

Amy Rathbun has diverse work experience, starting in 2006 as a Community Educator in an independent contractor role. In 2010, they joined Parent to Parent of Southwest Michigan as a Family Support Coordinator, where they managed direct services, including the Parent Mentor Program and Support Groups. Amy provided empathetic support to families, connected them to resources, and empowered them in parenting children with special needs. In 2016, Amy became a Family Support Partner Supervisor at Kalamazoo Community Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services. Currently, they work as a Content Creator at Beacon Specialized Living, starting in 2021.

Amy Rathbun earned a Master of Science in Administration degree with a specialization in Training and Development from Central Michigan University between 2018 and 2020. Before that, they attended Western Michigan University, although their degree and field of study during that time are not specified. In October 2018, Amy obtained a certification as a Mental Health First Aid Trainer from the National Council for Behavioral Health.
