Peter Brandt

Peter Brandt's work experience includes a role as Head of Chemistry at Beactica Therapeutics since September 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Principal Scientist at AstraZeneca from February 2019 to September 2021. Peter served as an Associate Professor at Uppsala University from March 2015 to January 2019 and as a Research Associate from October 2013 to March 2015. From August 2012 to October 2013, they were the Head of Chemistry and Informatics at KDev Exploratory AB. Peter worked as a Principal Scientist at Beactica AB from February 2009 to August 2012. Before that, they held multiple roles at Biovitrum AB, including Project Director from August 2008 to January 2009, Chemistry Team Leader from January 2005 to August 2008, and Computational Chemist from August 2002 to December 2004. Peter started their career as a Research Associate at the Royal Institute of Technology from August 2001 to July 2002. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Computational Chemist at Karo Bio AB from February 2000 to August 2001 and as a PostDoc at the Royal Danish School of Pharmacy from 1998 to 2000.

Peter Brandt completed their education at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology. Peter obtained a Master of Science degree in Chemistry from 1989 to 1993. Subsequently, they pursued a PhD in Organic Chemistry from 1994 to 1998 at the same institution.
