Carla Medrano

Carla joined Beaird Harris in 2012. She specializes in providing tax compliance and consulting services to individuals and businesses. Carla works with clients to identify, analyze, implement and document their various tax savings opportunities. Specifically, she has specialized experience in not-for-profit organizations, ministers and entrepreneurs.

Having been in the industry since 2002, Carla truly understands the importance of developing client relationships. She strives to deliver a great experience for every client by understanding the client’s needs, proactively consulting with the client, and providing efficient and accurate service. Over the years, Carla’s high attention to detail and overall dedication have helped her clients quickly address any tax issues that they may face.

Carla is actively involved in developing the firm’s Practice Management and Process Development Team. She is also charged with keeping the firm up-to date on relevant technical guidance.

Prior to joining Beaird Harris, Carla spent seven years working with a local public accounting firm and two years with a Big 4 accounting firm in Dallas.

Carla attended Southern Methodist University (Go Mustangs!) where, in 2002, she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and a Bachelors of Arts with a concentration in Spanish. In 2003, she received a Master of Science with a concentration in Taxation from the University of Texas at Arlington. In 2011, she was chosen to be a part of the Leadership Development Academy of 2011 sponsored by the Dallas CPA Society. Carla is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Texas Society of CPAs (TSCPA).
