Deanne Wilson

Deanne is a Certified Public Accountant with more than 25 years of public accounting experience. Her collaborative nature and deep understanding of complex tax and accounting issues allows her to navigate her client’s tax situations and speak to them about taxes, and related planning strategies, in ways they can understand.

Deanne serves a broad spectrum of clients including those with complex individual, corporate, partnership, and state income tax situations. Her industry focus centers on professional services companies, such as healthcare, legal, and staffing. She provides leadership in tax planning, consulting, financial statement compilation services and specializes in working with clients that have multiple entities and filing requirements. She also specializes in tackling complex employee stock option issues.

Deanne is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee, which focuses on the development and execution of the firm’s strategic plan. She is a key player on the firm’s leadership team and is charged with helping maintain firm culture, creating opportunities for business development, and improving the client experience. She is also the Partner-in-Charge of the client services team.

Deanne joined Beaird Harris in 1996 as an intern and became a Partner in 2006. She graduated from University of North Texas where she received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in accounting and taxation. She became a CPA in 2000 and is a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of CPAs.
