Lilibel de la Puente completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from Oregon State University, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. Prior to that, they attended US Navy Cryptologic schools from 2008 to 2009, where they pursued Intermediate Signals Analysis in digital communications analysis. In addition to their education, they obtained several certifications, including Gene Editing with CRISPR from Bio-Trac®, Sexual Assault Prevention and Response from the Department of the Navy in July 2009, and Sexual Assault Victim Advocacy Training from the District Attorney of Marion County, Oregon in January 2008.
