In addition to their education, they obtained several certifications, including Gene Editing with CRISPR from Bio-Trac®, Sexual Assault Prevention and Response from the Department of the Navy in July 2009, and Sexual Assault Victim Advocacy Training from the District Attorney of Marion County, Oregon in January 2008.
