Joe Mello is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in developing innovative solutions for various companies. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at Beam Benefits since March 2019, Joe has contributed to creating a top-tier dental insurance product using Ruby on Rails and React. Prior experience includes a Senior Consultant role at Workstate, where Joe worked on an enterprise big data project utilizing technologies such as Spark and Hadoop. At Nationwide Insurance, Joe excelled as a Sr. Automation Developer, designing a web automation framework and training over 20 new developers. Joe began a career in technology as an Automation Developer and previously gained management experience as an Assistant Manager at University Village Parking. Joe earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from The Ohio State University in 2014.
