Pep Lluis Negre is a seasoned computer vision engineer with extensive experience in underwater robotics and 3D reconstruction. Currently serving as Principal Computer Vision Engineer at Rovco since November 2017, Pep Lluis designs advanced online 3D underwater mapping algorithms leveraging Visual-SLAM and semi-dense reconstructions. Prior roles include researcher and PhD student at Universitat de les Illes Balears, CEO at Binibook SL, software developer at Sampol, control engineer at Alstom Power, and workshop technician at Decathlon España SA. Pep Lluis holds a Master’s Degree in Automatics and Robotics from the Politecnical University of Catalonia and an Industrial Engineering degree from the University of Balearic Islands.
