Social Impact Partnerships Manager at Beam

Davianna Olert has a diverse and extensive work experience. Davianna began their career in 2015 as a Green Offices Intern at the Stanford Office of Sustainability, where they implemented sustainability projects and conducted studies to increase energy efficiency and reduce energy waste in buildings around campus. Later that same year, they took on a Research Assistant role with the Stanford Undergraduate Program for Energy Research, where they researched energy policy in New York. In 2016, they worked as a Research Intern with Koc University, where they collaborated internationally with professors to contribute to their research. In 2017, they interned with the Alaska Democratic Party. In 2018, they were a Research Fellow at the Environmental Defense Fund, where they coordinated interviews, crafted research questions, and collected qualitative data. In 2019, they were a Teaching Assistant for Energy Fundamentals at Stanford University. In 2020, they worked as a Consultant at Spring Impact and as a Sustainability and B Corp Certification Project Contractor at Cultivating Capital. Currently, they are a Social Impact Partnerships Lead and Manager at Beam Impact.

Davianna Olert completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Earth Systems - Energy, Science, and Technology from Stanford University in 2018. Davianna then went on to pursue a Masters (M.A.) in Sustainability Science and Practice from Stanford University, which they completed in 2020.
