Technical Artist at Beamdog

Alexander Hicks has a diverse work experience in the gaming industry. Alexander started their career as a 3D Artist at Bight Interactive Inc, where they gained experience in character modeling, texturing, prop and environment modeling, and animation. Alexander then took on a teaching and administrative role as the 3D Department Head at The Gaming and Animation Institute of Fredericton, where they mentored students and developed courses. Alexander then joined Gogii Games as a 2D Artist, working on Hidden Object games and improving visual assets. Alexander continued their career at Orpheus Interactive as a Senior Technical Artist, contributing to various aspects of game development and helping to rebuild the character pipeline. Afterwards, they worked as a Senior Technical Artist at Squiggle Park, focusing on educational games. Most recently, they joined Silverback Games as a Senior Technical Artist before moving to their current role as a Technical Artist at Beamdog.

Alexander Hicks attended the Centre for Arts and Technology from 2007 to 2009. Alexander studied 3D Animation during that time, but their education history does not include the completion of a specific degree.
