Jan-Henrik Svensson

Jan-Henrik Svensson has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and industries. Jan-Henrik started their career at ABB Transmit Oy as a Project Manager, where they led multiple diesel power plant projects across various countries. Jan-Henrik then moved on to ABB S.A. Panama as a Marketing Manager, where they were responsible for marketing and sales of power generation and transmission projects in Central America and the Caribbean.

After that, Svensson joined ABB Competence Centre Wind Power in Mannheim as a Marketing Manager. Here, their responsibilities included implementing the wind power business model and actively contributing to ABB's wind power strategy.

Their next role was at ABB New Ventures Ltd in Zurich, where they served as a Manager of Business Development. Jan-Henrik focused on project development of wind power projects in Greece, Germany, Netherlands, and Spain, managing the processes of project development, acquisitions, and project finance.

Svensson then joined ABB Oy as a Manager of Project Development, leading a team responsible for developing international renewable energy projects. Jan-Henrik managed the processes of business and project development, acquisitions, and project finance.

Their most recent role was at KWH Plast Ltd, where they served as a Business Unit Manager. Jan-Henrik was a part of the management group and had direct responsibility for the largest business unit within the company. Jan-Henrik led an international team of salesmen and was responsible for the business strategy and investment plan of the unit.

Currently, Svensson is the CEO of Beamex, a position they have held since August 2015. Prior to becoming CEO, they held the position of Vice President, Sales & Marketing at the same company.

Jan-Henrik Svensson completed their Graduate Diploma in Digital Strategy and Leadership at Aalto University Executive Education and Professional Development from 2022 to 2023. Prior to that, they obtained an HHJ tutkinto from Tampereen kauppakamari in 2017. In 2002, they earned an MBA in International Business and Finance from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan. In 2001, Jan-Henrik participated in the International Management Program at ABB Academy, focusing on International Business. Jan-Henrik started their education journey at Vaasa Polytechnic, where they earned a B.Sc. (hons) in Electrical Engineering from 1990 to 1995. Finally, they completed their Matriculation from Pedersöre Gymnasium between 1986 and 1990.
