Chao-Ying Chen

Chao-Ying (Rosie) Chen is a Senior Research Associate I at Beam Therapeutics, having progressed from a Biology Co-op and Research Associate II within the company since May 2021. Prior experience includes research assistance at Chang Gung University, focusing on the polymerization of mitotic checkpoint complex proteins and correlations between polyomavirus BK and kidney transplant patient urine samples. Chao-Ying also completed a summer internship at Penn State University, studying phosphoinositide synthesis dynamics during Enterovirus infection. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Biotechnology from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Chang Gung University.
