Daniel Ferguson, PhD, is currently a Senior Scientist at Beam Therapeutics, focusing on cell and gene therapy and genome safety. Previously, Ferguson worked as a Senior Scientist at Be Biopharma and as a Scientist at Modalis Therapeutics, where they led early drug development initiatives and participated in patent filings. With a strong background in cancer research as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Ferguson specialized in functional genomic assays and pharmacologic screening for leukemic cells. Ferguson holds a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree and a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
