Gary Rakers

Gary Rakers has a diverse work experience, starting as an Audit Staff and eventually becoming an Audit Manager at Deloitte from 2006 to 2014. Gary then worked at TESARO, Inc. from 2014 to 2020, where they held various roles such as Manager of Financial Reporting and Associate Director of Technical Accounting and Operations. After that, they joined Eloxx Pharmaceuticals as the Assistant Controller, Director of Finance, and eventually became the Executive Director of Finance and Accounting, Corporate Controller & Treasurer. In 2021, they moved to Kiniksa Pharmaceuticals as the Executive Director, Corporate Controller. Currently, they are the Vice President of Finance at Beam Therapeutics, starting in 2022.

Gary Rakers obtained a Bachelor's of Science in Accounting from Bentley University in 2005. Gary then pursued a Master of Science in Accounting at Bentley University's McCallum Graduate School of Business from 2005 to 2006.
