Ven Abboy

Ven Abboy currently serves as Vice President of Product and Portfolio Strategy for Genetic Diseases at Beam Therapeutics, a position held since May 2025. Prior to this role, significant experience was gained at Ultragenyx, progressing through various leadership positions including Executive Director and Senior Director, with a focus on global commercial strategy. Earlier career highlights include roles at Achaogen as Associate Director of Marketing, and various positions at Genentech and Questcor Pharmaceuticals, primarily in marketing and product management related to multiple sclerosis. Ven holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a B.S. in Biochemistry from Brown University.
