Michael Marcotte

Michael Marcotte has a wide range of work experience in the solar, energy storage, and biotechnology industries. Michael began their career in 2009 as a Business Development professional at Apex Systems. In 2012, they moved to GlaxoSmithKline as a Biotechnology Sales Professional, where they managed relationships with Endocrinologists, Cardiologists and Primary Care Physicians within the Southern California marketplace. In 2016, Michael became an Application Sales Executive at Oracle, delivering great customer experience throughout the customer journey and across all interaction channels. In 2017, they took on the role of Sales Director at Olapic, helping to amplify brands' engagement and performance across every channel. Michael also became Director of Business Development at Next Grid Partners. In 2020, Michael founded and became CEO of Grid Projects Co. Most recently, in 2022, they took on the role of Head of Development & Managing Partner at Bear Peak Power, where they are actively developing solar and energy storage projects throughout the United States.

Michael Marcotte attended the University of Colorado Boulder from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Business/Managerial Economics.
