Jon Poon

Jon Poon has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Jon started their career as an Audit In-charge at Grant Thornton UK LLP, where they gained experience in auditing various businesses. Jon then joined KPMG UK, where they progressed through the ranks and eventually became an Associate Director in the Transaction Services department. At KPMG, Jon specialized in financial due diligence for M&A transactions. Jon later moved to Dentsu Aegis Network as a Senior FP&A Manager, where they focused on the international business of the company. Jon then joined Inmarsat as the Head of Group FP&A, where they led the commercial business cases process and managed the annual budget and planning processes. Their most recent role was as a Finance Business Partner at Vodafone, where they supported the consumer mobile business in Ireland and worked closely with the CFO and the Consumer Leadership Team. Currently, Jon is working as a Senior Manager of Corporate Finance and Strategy at Bear Robotics.

Jon Poon attended the University of Bath from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Master of Mathematics (Mmath) with honors. In addition to their university education, Jon obtained certifications in Programming Essentials in Python from the Cisco Networking Academy in July 2020, and Learn to code for data analysis from The Open University in May 2020.
