Tammy Houtchens

Tammy Houtchens has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Tammy currently serves as the Director of Accounting at BearCom since 2022. Prior to that, from 2016 to 2022, they worked at Tribune Publishing Company, starting as the Manager of General Accounting before being promoted to Senior Manager.

Before joining Tribune Publishing Company, Tammy worked at The Dallas Morning News for 13 years starting in 2003. Tammy'sroles there included Manager of Circulation Accounting, Circulation Reporting Coordinator, and Fixed Asset Accountant.

Tammy'searlier experience includes working as a Property Accountant at Verizon Enterprise Solutions from 1996 to 2003 and as an Inventory Accountant/Auditor at Dal-Tile Corporation from 1983 to 1993.

Tammy Houtchens obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics & Finance from The University of Texas at Dallas, which they attended from 1994 to 1997. Afterwards, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Applied Economics from The University of Texas at Dallas from 2000 to 2002.
