Jim Porter

Jim Porter is a GM Certified Technician at Beardmore Chevrolet. Jim has over ten years of customer service experience, including five years in the food service industry and two years as a service driver. In their current position, they are responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles. Jim has also worked as an onsite manager for an apartment complex and as a sales associate for a retail store.

Jim Porter has a Bachelor’s Degree in Creative Writing from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and a certification from GMG EnviroSafe in Class I, IV, & V Industrial Truck Operator. Jim also has a certification from FedEx in FedEx Ship Smart Ship Safe (HazMat) and a certification from Subaru of America in Senior Master Subaru Certified Parts Advisor.

They work with Kevin Mietz - Chevy Service Advisor, Tyler Schilling - Inventory Photographer, and Brandon Cornett - Chevy Service Technician. Jim Porter reports to Paul Dawkins, Chevy Service Manager.
