Laurent Charmes is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in risk management, digital transformation, and process enhancement across various industries. Currently serving as a Senior Manager at BearingPoint since March 2021, Laurent specializes in developing the Risk Management offering for the Chemical, Life Sciences, and Resource sectors. Previously, Laurent held multiple leadership roles at Bayer from 2012 to 2021, including Third Party Risk Management Global Program Lead, where significant advancements in supplier risk automation and cybersecurity were achieved. Laurent co-founded and served as CEO of Thoughts for Simple Life, focusing on innovative hospitality solutions, and began a career at IBM, managing procure-to-pay transitions and supply chain consulting. Laurent holds a Master's degree in Information Technology from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Nancy.
