Beat The Odds
Beat The Odds (BTO) is dedicated to serving under-resourced youth (ages 14-24) in Boston's low-income communities through its Creative Youth Development Program. We provide students with a unique opportunity to explore their creativity and unlock their hidden talents. Our mission is to provide a safe space, where young people have access to the creative tools necessary to inspire self-awareness and encourage mental health and healing from trauma through music and the arts. We empower youth who are persistently experiencing the consequences of intergenerational poverty, racism, violence, and trauma to break these cycles and live fulfilling lives. Through our unique programming, BTO fosters future generations of healthy, grounded, and resilient individuals with the ability to face whatever challenges lie ahead. At BTO, our youth learn that they matter, their stories matter, and they can make a difference in the world around them with their creativity and storytelling.
