Paul Burton

Paul Burton is a seasoned data architect and engineer with extensive experience in SQL BI development and data warehousing. Currently serving as a Senior Data Architect/Engineer at Beatport since October 2023, Paul has previously held significant roles at multiple organizations including Foundation Home Loans, St Pierre Groupe, and Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, where responsibilities ranged from data reconciliation and performance improvements to the design and implementation of Data Warehouses and ETL processes. Notable projects include leading the migration of ETL structures at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and deploying BI models at Hallmark Cards on an international scale. Paul holds a BA (Hons) in Popular Music Studies from Bretton Hall College, Leeds, complemented by a strong foundation in English Literature and Media Studies.
