Chad Jurgens began their work experience as a Certified Public Accountant at Dohman Akerlund & Eddy in 1997, where they worked until 1998. Chad then joined Grant Thornton LLP as a Certified Public Accountant until 2000. After that, they joined JCHC as a CFO from 2000 to 2013. Chad then served as CEO at Jefferson Community Health & Life from 2013 to 2019. Currently, Chad is working as the CFO at Beatrice Community Hospital and Health Center since November 2019.
Chad Jurgens obtained their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln between 1992 and 1996. Afterward, they pursued a Master of Arts & Sciences degree in Health Care Administration from Bellevue University from 2014 to 2017.

Beatrice Community Hospital and Health Center is dedicated to serving the residents of Beatrice, Nebraska, and surrounding communities. We are the largest critical access hospital in Southeast Nebraska, with a 24/7 physician-staffed emergency department. Our health system includes women's and children's services, orthopaedic services, general surgeons, and family and internal medicine clinics, as well as a hospitalist program. In addition, we offer a full range of rehabilitation services -- physical, occupational and speech. We opened a new hospital facility in February 2012, and opened a new physician clinic in May of 2023.
