Jennifer Massey is a seasoned healthcare professional with extensive experience in palliative care and oncology social work. Currently serving as the Continuum of Care Services Manager at Beaufort Memorial Hospital since March 2015, Jennifer oversees inpatient Palliative Care consulting services. Previously, in the role of Oncology Social Worker, Jennifer provided direct patient care, facilitated support groups, developed a Patient Assistance program, and collaborated with the Chief Medical Officer to establish a Palliative Care Program, while also chairing the Hospital Ethics Committee and serving as Psychosocial Coordinator for the Cancer Committee. Prior to this, Jennifer held various roles at THA Group/Island Hospice from August 2009 to February 2015, including interim Hospice Program Director. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Virginia.
