Kwinten Clauwaert

Kwinten Clauwaert is an experienced professional in the field of engineering and research, currently serving as the R&D manager for cushion vinyl at Beaulieu International Group since January 2022, and previously holding the role of innovation project engineer. Prior experience includes positions as a process engineer at UNILIN, project engineer at DD Engineering, and senior process engineer specializing in physical vapor deposition at ON Semiconductor, where Kwinten also worked as a process engineer and integration and yield engineer. Academic credentials include a PhD candidacy at KU Leuven focusing on electrodeposition for thin-film photovoltaic cells, extensive supervisory roles in various engineering courses, and a master’s degree in industrial sciences from Katholieke Hogeschool 'Sint-Lieven'. Kwinten is a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and completed a master’s thesis internship at OCAS NV on the topic of electrodeposition from ionic liquids.
