Max Fumagalli

Max Fumagalli has a diverse work experience in the fields of product design, user experience (UX), and innovation. Max has held positions such as UX Director at Beauty Pie, Product & Design Advisor at SPACETWO, and Startup Advisor as an independent consultant. In their previous role at Digitas UK, Max served as an Executive Creative Director, where they led and facilitated meetings with clients, recruited and diversified the product design team, and built a new research team. Prior to that, they worked at Depop, where they held positions such as Head of Innovation Design and Head of Design and UX, responsible for driving innovation, overseeing product design, and managing a multidisciplinary design team. Additionally, Max has worked as an Advisor and Product Design Lead at OfficeServe and as a Lead UI/UX Designer and UX/UI Designer at Depop. Max also has experience as an Advisor and Associate Senior Designer at Not A Num Ltd and as an Associate Senior Designer at H-FARM, a venture incubator.

Max Fumagalli completed a Master's in Interaction Design - MFA from Politecnico di Milano from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree (BFA) in Industrial and Product Design from the same institution from 1992 to 1997. Max's education also includes a High School diploma (BA) in Architecture and Design from Liceo Artistico Hajech Milano, which they obtained from 1986 to 1989. In addition to their formal education, Max has obtained certifications in "How to Design for Augmented and Virtual Reality" and "Accessibility: How to Design for All" from The Interaction Design Foundation in 2022 and 2020, respectively.
