Alain Briot has over 20 years of experience in the photography industry. In 1997, they founded Beaux Arts Photography, where they served as the owner and worked as a fine art photographer, author, teacher, and consultant. Alain published books on landscape photography, composition, creativity, and marketing.
In 1999, Briot also established their own publishing company called Alain Briot Publishing, where they authored a series of ebooks, essays, and regular columns.
Additionally, Briot founded Alain Briot Photography in 1997, where they created Avant Garde fine art photographs, conducted photography workshops, provided individual tutoring and consulting services, and wrote monthly columns for various online and print magazines.
In 2003, Briot worked for Rocky Nook, Inc., contributing their expertise to their books.
Alain Briot pursued their education in a chronological manner, starting with their enrollment at the Academie des Beaux Arts in Paris, France, where they earned a diploma in Fine Arts. Next, from 1986 to 1990, they attended Northern Arizona University, completing their Bachelor's degree. Afterwards, from 1990 to 1992, Alain pursued a Master's degree in Rhetoric and Composition at the same university. Concurrently, they also pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at Michigan Technological University from 1990 to 1994, with their studies being All But Dissertation (ABD).
