Prateet Verma

Prateet Verma serves as the Sr Director at BVI Medical since September 2021, overseeing R&D strategy and project execution. Previously, Prateet held the position of Director, R&D at Alcon from October 2015 to September 2021, managing the Portfolio and Project Management for the Surgical Instrumentation R&D division. This role followed a tenure as Senior Manager II, where responsibilities included managing programs for the Cataract Instrumentation and Vitrectomy franchise. Before Alcon, Prateet was a Program Manager at Boston Scientific from November 2008 to October 2015, leading a global team across multiple domains and managing diverse projects. Other positions at Boston Scientific included Product Development Engineer and Process Consultant, focusing on new product development and business transformation initiatives. Earlier in the career, Prateet worked as a Product Specialist and FE Analyst at Tata Consultancy Services from February 2005 to September 2008. Prateet holds a Master’s degree in Automotive Engineering from the University of Leeds and completed secondary education at Delhi Public School - Mathura Road.
