Hannah Harries-Jones has extensive work experience in the hospitality industry. Hannah started their career at FJB Hotels as a Casual Worker in 2002. Hannah then worked at Beanscene as a Barista from 2003 to 2006 before becoming a Bartender at Le Bateau Bistro from 2006 to 2007. In 2008, they worked as a Hostess at The Fox Club.
In 2009, Hannah joined Firmdale Hotels PLC as a Graduate Management Trainee and later served as an Events Supervisor, Events Manager, Pre Opening Restaurant Manager, and finally as the Food and Beverage Manager until 2016.
From 2016 to 2019, they worked at The Zetter Group, starting as the General Manager of Grain Store and later as the Director of Food and Drink for multiple sites.
Currently, Hannah is the Head of Food and Beverage at Beaverbrook, a position they have held since 2019. Recently, they were promoted to Director of Operations in July 2022.
Hannah Harries-Jones attended Bournemouth School for Girls from 1995 to 2002. Hannah then went on to study Biological Sciences, specifically Microbiology, at The University of Edinburgh from 2002 to 2006, earning a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree. Additionally, they obtained certifications such as First Aid at Work - Level 3 Award and Food Safety in Catering - Level 2 Award from The Chartered Institute of Environmental Health in 2016. Furthermore, Hannah obtained a Level 2 Award in Wines and Spirits from WSET - Wine & Spirit Education Trust in 2009, and an Institute of Leadership and Management Level 3 qualification from ILM - Institute of Leadership & Management.
