Angelina Johnson

Angelina Johnson has a diverse work experience in the education field. Angelina'smost recent role is as a 1st Grade Dual Language Immersion Classroom Teacher at Beaverton School District, starting in 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Summer Acceleration Academy Teacher at Portland Public Schools in 2022. From 2017 to 2022, Angelina was a stay-at-home parent. From 2012 to 2017, they worked as a Bilingual Kindergarten Teacher and Kindergarten Teacher-Spanish Bilingual at San Francisco Unified School District. Angelina also served as a Migrant Tutor at Mini Corps from 2007 to 2010 and as a Substitute Teacher at Franklin McKinley School District from 2008 to 2009.

Angelina Johnson has a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies, which they obtained from San Jose State University from 2005 to 2009. Angelina then completed a Spanish Bilingual Teacher Credential at the same university from 2010 to 2012. Angelina is currently pursuing a Master of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction at Portland State University, which they are expected to complete in 2023. In addition to their formal education, Angelina has obtained certifications such as a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential with BCLAD Authorization from the Comission on Teacher Credentialing and a Reciprocal Teaching License from The Oregon Teacher Standards and Practices Comission.
