Dax Balzer

Physics Instructor at Beaverton School District

Dax Balzer began their work experience in 2010 as an Educational Media Specialist for the CalPoly Teach Program, where they worked until 2013. In 2011, they became an Engine Repair Teacher at Pioneer Valley High School, a position they held until 2015. In the same year, they also worked as an Engineering Technology Instructor at Roosevelt High School for a short period of time. Finally, in 2015, Dax joined the Beaverton School District as a Physics Teacher, and later became a Physics Instructor.

Dax Balzer obtained their Associate's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from San Diego City College, where they studied from 2001 to 2004. Dax then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in General Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, completing their studies from 2005 to 2009.

In addition to their degrees, Dax Balzer obtained several certifications in teaching. In August 2009, they received a Chemistry Teaching Credential, an Industrial Technology Teaching Credential, a Physics Teaching Credential, and a Theater Teaching Authorization, all from the California Department of Education.
