Dr. Liane O'Banion

Dr. Liane O'Banion currently serves as the Title IX/Civil Rights Coordinator for Beaverton School District since November 2024. Prior experience includes the role of Director of Title IX at Portland Public Schools from July 2019 to November 2024 and various leadership positions at Portland State University from January 2001 to June 2019, where Dr. O'Banion managed academic support programs, developed curriculum, and conducted training for faculty. Dr. O'Banion's early career included recruitment and academic advising positions at Marylhurst University, Portland State University, and the University of Oregon. Dr. O'Banion holds a Doctor of Education degree in Higher Education Administration from Portland State University, along with a Master's in Postsecondary Education and a Bachelor's in Psychology/Special Education from the University of Oregon.
