Jared Agard has a diverse work experience in the education field. Jared started their career in 2004 as a Teacher at Aldar Academy, where they implemented dynamic teaching strategies and worked with students with various emotional and behavioral disorders. In 2006, Jared joined the Beaverton School District as a Learning Specialist, managing a case load of Special Education students and establishing student-run businesses. Jared also worked as an Art/Film Teacher, teaching middle grade art and film classes and training high school students in professional film techniques. Jared then worked as an Art Teacher at Insight School of Oregon and iSucceed Virtual High School of Idaho, teaching art/tech to high school students in a virtual environment and developing a Creativity Club. Additionally, Jared has been self-employed as an Author since 2000, writing fiction for middle-grade children to promote reading and creativity.
Jared Agard attended the University of California, Davis from 2001 to 2003, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Fine/Studio Arts, General. Following this, they pursued further education at the University of Phoenix from 2003 to 2006, obtaining a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Secondary Education and Teaching.
