Nam Truong

Nam Truong's work experience includes:

- 7th Grade Math Teacher at Beaverton School District since August 2014 (ongoing)

- Student Teacher at Hillsboro School District from January 2014 to May 2014

- Student Teacher at Portland Christian Schools from September 2013 to December 2013

- Finance Intern at Osprit, Inc from August 2011 to October 2011, where they built financial models, coordinated initiatives, and presented recommendations

- Associate Staff at Cru from April 2009 to August 2011, where they developed and managed a sub-division, focused on student leadership development, and aligned and equipped students and volunteers to the organization's mission, vision, and values.

Nam Truong obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Real Estate Finance from Portland State University in the years 2005 to 2008.

Afterward, Nam pursued a Master of Arts in Teaching degree at Multnomah University from 2012 to 2014, with a focus on teaching middle/high school math and middle level social studies.

In June 2014, Nam obtained an Initial I Teaching certification from the Oregon Teacher Standards and Practices Commission.
